Thursday’s husband, Seth, has two other wives. She’s never met them, and she doesn’t know anything about them. She agreed to this unusual arrangement because she’s so crazy about him.
But one day, she finds something. Something that tells a very different—and horrifying—story about the man she married.
What follows is one of the most twisted, shocking thrillers you’ll ever read.
You’ll have to grab a copy to find out why.

The only way to start this review is, what just happened? What did I just read? What....What the what?
I am still trying to wrap my head around this story. Buckle up baby, you are in for a ride.
This is where Ms. Fisher shines, her psychological thrillers and mind bending twists are where she is at her absolute best. The ride The Wives takes you on is nothing short of the tallest roller coaster at the amusement park. Prepare for the highs and lows.
Thursday, had me hooked. I was very vested in her mind set with her husband Seth. I was like "NOPE, never in my life could I allow the things he does." Saying Thursday falls down the rabbit hole of his life is putting it mildly. She decides that she needs to know more about what he is doing with his OTHER wives and his life outside "their" marriage. Thursday is ill prepared for what she is about to witness or is she?
I did love this story but I did have some issues. At times I felt like I was dealing with 10 different split personalities. I get it, there are multiple characters and layers to each of them. It just became a bit crowded at times. It was a tad bit predictable a few times.
I feel like the last half of the story was more on target. You get to see how quickly a situation like this can cause one to go into self preservation mode. The mind has a way of knowing just what to do to make it all seem normal. And that last chapter... I WAS TOTALLY MIND F&UCKED. I was not sure how the ending was going to play out between Regina and Thursday and leave it to Ms. Fisher, to give us what we all secretly wanted.
