About the author:

Amy Release party
I am Amy Lynn Garcia, daughter, sister, cousin, mother, nurse, grandma…no..no…call me Mimi I’m too young to be a grandma, writer and friend. We are all something to someone, and I love all the hats I wear in my life. I was born in 1969 which is where I lay blame to my compulsion to write erotica and romance, wink. That makes me…uh…yea 45, no way really? My mind is still very young but not naive I’ve seen a lot and experienced more, you may think I don’t know what’s going on but be assured this Mama knows what’s up! I enjoy creating characters that have something people can relate to, who are real, addictive and intriguing. Love has always been a desire just out of my reach, as it is for many people. I believe that is what draws me into stories with superb happily ever afters. I want to connect with people on that level, let them know they aren’t alone, that love can triumph over all, we all long for that special one that takes our breath away.My Biography simply put is this, I am a mother of 5 daughters, born and raised in Iowa, and no I don’t see farm animals on a daily basis, just at the state fair once a year. I live in the suburbs, just a mom trying to make it and support her children. Divorced once, and another long term relationship failed as well. I feel that qualifies me to write about relationship pain and disappointment. I worked a million retail jobs, was a receptionist in many hair salons, and attended college off and on for years before I finally settled down and went to college to become a nurse. Doing things the hard way is my speciality, point proven, I waited until I had 5 young daughters, one only 6 weeks old to go back to college. As much as nursing is my career, writing is my passion. Being creative has sparked a fire within me that is now burning out of control, ideas and characters flow from my mind constantly and unfortunately, when I’m driving or mowing the grass with no pen or paper. My ultimate goal when I write is to help my reader feel something, if your heart skips a beat, if you shed a tear, connect with my characters or if you can’t wait for the next in my series then I consider it mission accomplished!

Blurb:
Poet and Amy's story...

Patrick Gallagher’s future was mapped out—and it didn’t include Amy Henderson or the IRA.

She was everything he’d never wanted. Too young. Too naïve.

Unfortunately, he couldn’t help but be fascinated by the girl who took refuge in his old bedroom, staying with his mum more often than not.

She looked like a Renaissance painting and argued like a solicitor. He couldn’t resist her, and before long, he didn’t even want to.

Instead, he loved her unreservedly… then he married her.

But he couldn’t have prepared for what happened after.

Actions, no matter how large or how small, have consequences—and when the IRA comes knocking, he’s sucked into a life that he’d never anticipated.

Choices were made.

Hearts were broken.

Trust was shattered.

Lives were lost.

Through it all, he loved her.

It was a love that spanned decades.
Epic.
Intense.
Unquestionable.
Unbreakable.

My Review
There are times as a blogger/book reviewer that we become stuck. What I mean by this is, same book, same story line, the same out come. But then there are the times when you read something that just completely destroys you. You can't move on, you can't get it out of your mind and you can not even think about picking up something else to read. I long for these times. I want to be destroyed, I want to be emotionally exhausted and I want to believe in good again. That is exactly what you get in Craving Resurrection by Nicole Jacquelyn. It. Is. Brilliant!!!

The dialogue is some of the best I have ever read. With that said, its written from dual points of views. Patick (Poet) is Irish, and she wrote it the way he would speak... Irish accent. At times it is a bit tough to follow, but you catch on very quickly and it becomes second nature to the reader. There were times that I was so, mesmerized by what he was saying, I had to close my kindle and just absorb what he just said.

This is a different kind of MC book... as a mater of fact it actually plays a very little part in Poet and Amy's story. This is a book about overcoming the devastating acts of one person and how it can have an everlasting trickle effect on everyone in your life. The past has a way of haunting you or making you stronger, you decide which. This is a story about love. A pure undying love that becomes so twisted and tainted, you as a reader, believe there is no coming back from what you just read.

Amy, is Outstanding! She is probably the best leading lady I have read. She is not weak. Yes, she has her moments of weakness but she does not linger. She has had a rough life. Her parents suck and she has been moved all over the world, only to be abandoned time and time again by her parents. But she doesn't let it destroy her. She befriends Peg and her life changes forever...

"Marry me." It wasn't a question.
The wind-up clock in the kitchen ticked at least fifteen times as she stared at me with wide eyes. I'd surprised her.
"Marry you? Are you insane?" she said finally.
"No. Marry me."
"I'm eighteen. I haven't even finished secondary! I can't just-"
"Marry me."
"Stop saying that!
She gripped my forearms tightly in her slender hands, her nails digging in, and I couldn't help but smile Happily. Finally, finally, something in my life felt right. This felt right. I'd anchor her to me so securely, she'd never again think of a life without me.
The front door opened and my mum walked briskly into the kitchen pausing as she caught sight of us.
Checkmate.
"Marry me."
Mum gasped in delight, and Amy's eyes closed in defeat.
Then her lips tipped up just a fraction.
"Marry me," I whispered again pulling her face toward mine.
"Are you sure?" she whispered back, opening her eyes. "Absolutely sure? This isn't a game Patrick Gallagher, you can't change your mind.'
I'm more sure of dis den I'ver ever been of anyt'in'."

Sometimes love is not enough... Sometimes actions are set into motion without you even knowing and the consequences are bigger then the love you share. Patrick, had no idea he would ever be pulled into something that would ruin him. He knew that he had only once choice, but that choice cost him more than he could ever imagine... Amy. He knew she loved him, but could she ever forgive him?

I could literally go on and on with all the reasons you should read this book, but honestly there is only one reason, It is so beautifully written. The conversations between Patrick and Phoenix (Nix) are profound! I cried... no, I bawled. The acceptance, the compassion, the understanding... I am getting choked up thinking about it. I have never experienced the pull, that this interaction had on me.
"Ye did not come from me body," Patrick said fiercely, staring into overflowing eyes and cupping his face so gently their skin was barely touching. "But ye are my son. And ye are exactly as God made ye. Dere is not one t'ing wrong wit' ye, Phoenix Robert Gallagher, and I'll kill any man who says ot'erwise."

The intertwining of characters, was incredible. We all kind of knew the interaction between Brenna and Amy in, Craving Constellations would come to play,  and they do.

I have to say, Nicole Jacquelyn's writing has only gotten better. She has now written two of my favorite books. Two of my top 5 books ever... I say that loudly and proudly.
Not only is this book brilliant, but I believe it to a very important book. The subject matter it deals with, are not easy to talk about for some. And you never know, this book may help someone or change someones way of thinking.
This book can be read as a standalone. 5*****

Nicole Jacquelyn bio:

Nicole Jacquelyn is the mom of two little girls and a full time college student. She hasn’t watched television in well over a year, she still does things that drive her mother crazy, and she loves to read. At eight years old, when asked what she wanted to be when she grew up, she told people she wanted to be a mom. When she was twelve her answer changed- to author. By the time she was eighteen, when people asked her what she wanted to do with her life, she told them she really wanted to be a writer- but the odds of that happening were so slim that she’d get her business degree “just to be safe”. Her dreams stayed constant. First she became a mom, then she went to college, and during her senior year- with one daughter in first grade and the other in preschool, she sat down and wrote a story.

Dawn's Review

I feel like my brain just went through  a tornado. Like a freaking F5 with winds of 250 mph! I am still trying to wrap my head around everything that has transpired, whilst reading The Untouchables.
I found myself often thinking "what the hell is wrong with this author?" " Why, would she even think to do or say that?" "Who comes up with this stuff?"... I have no answer for you, only that I am so happy she does! Ms. McAvoy  writes stories like you have never read before. I will not lie to you, I wanted to quit reading this book!  Why you ask? Because I knew my freaking blood pressure was going to shoot through the freaking roof...and it did!

I almost feel like I hated or disliked every character in this book at one point. Maybe not Evelyn, Sedric  or Ethan. But that is what is so delicious about it. It's all the sugar, real butter and chocolate you want, but you know it's going to make you fat!  You crave it and eat the entire batch in one setting! They are awful and the most despicable people you could ever meet. BUT, they demand loyalty and respect. You hate that you love them, even though you hate them.... understand? I know, its like a freak show.

I want so badly to tell you everything, but that would be such a disservice to you. This was a hard book to get through. Not because it was bad, but because there are so many players and you can trust NO ONE! There are chapters dedicated to body guards, the police and of course The Callahan's, all of them. It's this insight that you very often do not get, in most books. I had no idea where Ms. McAvoy was taking us, like NONE. I would think I had something figured out .... NOPE, not even close.  It's frustrating, but in this "tell me more" kind of way.

These characters are not lovable, they are not sane, they are not normal, they are not "hearts and flowers", they are Ruthless and some of the most fascinating characters that I have ever read. I mean it, you seriously have to dig deep to find what you like about them. But, it is there.

For me Melody is strong and demands respect. Those are not bad qualities in a person. It's her ways of getting that respect that is not rational. She has a soft side that I LOVED seeing in this book.  She surprised me the most. There were times I was cheering her on and there were times I was thinking "girl you are nuts!" But it works so well.

Liam, he is my bright spot. Yes, his arrogance is very annoying, but what do you expect from "the Chosen one?" He is super protective of his family, that is a down fall. He demands loyalty and will shoot you in the face if you disrespect him. BUT, his love for Mel, is bar none deep and passionate. I very much enjoyed seeing them get close and loving one another.

Declan and Coraline, I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE. They tore my emotions apart! I am so vested in these two...

Neal and Olivia... This series brings out my inner MOB voice, I don't mind Neal, he does need to man the hell up, but he does not bother me... His wife on the other hand... "I want her dead, her family dead, her dog dead, even her plants dead!!!" (said in my best DeNiro voice.) Good lord I hate that woman!!! I can not wait to see what is in store for her in book #3.

Sedric and Evelyn, they are lovely, I can see them cutting you down in a second, but I do enjoy them none the less.

Stick with it, this one is a tough one! Not because its hard to follow. There is just a ton of information that is given that is key to understanding Melody and Liam. The carnage they leave in the wake of devastating events, is  A LOT! I guess if you hate them, then the author is doing something right. Her job is to evoke emotions and reactions in her readers... and trust me, The Untouchables will do just that!!!!!

I love the chapter headers! They are so insightful, they give you a glimpse of what you are about to dive into. I just love it!

The Untouchables gets 4.5 Clocks from me and I am dying to get my hands on book #3 American Savages.  March is just around the bend, I think I make it.

BLOG TOUR...Uncover Me: Men of Inked Series by Chelle Bliss... Review and Rafflecopter Giveaway!!!!!

TourBannerUncover Me - Men of Inked #4

Synopsis:
I lost track of my life.
Spiraling down the rabbit hole, I lost myself and became one of them. Living undercover within the MC, the days bled together as I became absorbed in a life of excess and violence. Becoming consumed was easy. Was I Thomas Gallo, good guy and respected cop or Blue, Sergeant-at-Arms of the Sun Devils MC? Before, I could answer with certainty. But now, there’s a darkness that has settled deep in my soul, fusing with my heart and altering my reality forever. The road I’ve traveled has been paved with danger, death, and deception. Roxanne grew up as part of the MC, a victim of her birth. Her life has been treacherous, setting her on a course of torment and destruction. When our worlds collide, secrets are revealed. Trying to save us from damnation, I fight for redemption and the woman I love.

Dawn's Review

Well, I knew it was going to happen, I knew Thomas Gallo was going to be my favorite. I have been intrigued with him since book 1, in The Men of Inked series. I would devour each book hoping to learn more about "my man Thomas." I can not remember the last time I was sitting, waiting with bated breath on a book to, A) Be written and B) me being able to get my hands on it.
When we got Izzy's book I was beyond excited, I knew Thomas made appearances and I was READY! Well, Chelle did NOT disappoint me at all!!!!

I when I finished reading Uncover Me, I needed to talk to someone about it, and well my husband was the only one in earshot. I had to tell him how Chelle takes each book to the point of , " Oh shit, this could go bad really fast." Only to bring us back with a sense of relief.  My heart rate appreciates that!  I don't always need all the "angst and drama" and that is where Chelle shines brightest. She is brilliant in her delivery, you swear she is taking you left and
BOOM, she swerves that bitch to the right and the whip lash is a tasty treat!

What to say about Thomas and Roxy aka "Angel?" I will start with, I loved that we got them "mid relationship" no insta love.  I just loved that we got to know them as a couple that had been together for a while. Even if it was built on less than honesty, on Thomas's part, it worked in every way. I enjoyed the vulnerability of Roxy. She was not a mess in any way, she just had a screwed up childhood. It didn't cripple her, she just had a skewed view of what family was like.  I just really liked her. And when she and Izzy  got drunk.. I was dying. They had me laughing my ass off. When you read it you will understand why this is so funny!

"Tricky Dicks, Private Dicks, Pick a Dick, and Quickie Dicks"

Oh my Thomas... good lord! I am kind of a hard nut to crack with it comes to new book boyfriends. I have had the same one for years. No one has ever compared to my              "OG BBF"... until Thomas. I think it was the anticipation of him.*wink wink* (read it, you'll understand.) He was such a mystery for so long. I knew he and I would click. He is my kind of man, biker (even if it was a lie) longer hair, tatted up, loyal and a BIG BAD ASS! His need to protect his family drives him to do things he never thought he would do. I think this sums up his conflict perfectly.

"I wasn't the same man I'd been when I joined the DEA. If you asked me then if I'd kill a man and hide his body, I would've looked at you like you had three heads. But I had done it. That was the new Thomas Gallo."

Gah, I read that and knew the gravity of his decision was haunting him. I could not read this fast enough, but never wanting it to end!

Let's talk sexiness, shall we???  OMFG!!! There were not hoards of sex/love scenes in this story, but the ones that are in it...HOLY HELL, HOT HOT, HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll just say, Roxy is my kind of gal. WOW! I mean it, they were some of the sexiest scenes I have ever read. NO JOKE... They went far enough for you to get all the good stuff. Without being so many and so much that it took from the story. I found it to be perfectly balanced.

"Without asking, he wrapped one hand around my neck, putting pressure on my veins but not cutting off my breathing. My face began to feel tingly as the blood flow was cut off. When he pinched harder, I felt lightheaded and sucked in air, barely able to squeak out a sound. His grip became tighter, the pressure intensified and my body snapped, releasing the pent-up energy that had collected all evening."

I don't know about you but, DAYUMMMMMM! I don't care who you are that is some HOT writing.

Now onto my absolute most favorite part of each and everyone of these books....
The Gallo Family... I love them, I feel like I know them.  I want to be friends with the entire family, I want to eat Mamma Gallo's food and be teased endlessly by all of the Gallo Men. I can not think of any other family written in a series or standalone that I adore as much as I am in love with The Gallo's.  I cried!!! YES ME, I cried... there are very few books out there that get me to cry...But damn, when Thomas walked into the house and Mamma Gallo yells his name and spider monkey's herself onto him... I cried. I cried hard.
I have been vested in this family from the start, I feel like I have a right to show up on their door step and it will be perfectly fine.  That people is called, "EXCELLENT WRITING!"  And what Chelle does with her characters is just
magic...

5+ Clocks for me. I mean, it just a complete story.. You get finality, no hanging on to "what if's or shoulda's." I feel like that is what draws me in so deep to this series. Every book is a complete journey. Bravo!!!!
