Release Day Blitz of After Summer Ends

Synopsis
My name is Willow Erwin, and I hate summer. My mother always said hate is a strong word, but in this case, it’s the right one. I haven’t found one good thing about the season. Most people tell me since I’m a teacher that reason alone should make it my favorite season, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. For me, summer brings everything I abhor: bugs, heat, sweating, and painful memories of a woman I will never see again.
Then, in the wink of one very beautiful blue eye, all of that changed. This is the story of Summer and how she taught me to love her. It’s about her quiet, and sometimes fearful, way of teaching me to embrace the moment, and to live recklessly. It’s about how both of us learned to forgive, to hope, to pray, and to love, even after summer ends.
Excerpt

Summer turned and knelt on the sand, turning her head to look at me over her shoulder. “The next part of the walk is a little hard on the feet. Climb on my back and I’ll give you a ride.”
I stood uncomfortably staring at her back. “I’m supposed to let you give me a piggyback ride? I’m not four.”
She turned her whole body at once and dragged me towards her. Her lips came down on mine, and my arms went around her neck. She held my waist with her soft hands and I whimpered a little when she captured my tongue between her teeth, biting down to make me squirm. She ended the kiss, but rested her forehead against mine, so she could look right into my eyes.
“Believe me, every time I look at you, I know you’re not four. I know you’re one hundred percent woman and I can’t keep my hands, or my lips, off you. I only wanted to feel you against me and protect you at the same time.”
I nodded without saying a word and slipped my arm through the other strap on my backpack. She turned around again and I wrapped my arms around her neck, grasping her waist with my legs. She rested her hands on my bottom to hold me and I sighed, especially when she grasped the cheeks when she stood.
I tucked my chin against her neck and kissed her cheek, “This is nice.”
She turned her head and I snuck a kiss to her lips before she started walking. “There’s some jagged rock outcroppings you have to go around, but first you have to know where they are,” she explained. She walked easily as though my added weight was nothing.
“You’re so strong. I wish I was strong sometimes.”
She caressed my bottom and then patted it. “You’re strong in ways I’m not, Willow. I know I couldn’t deal with what you deal with on a daily basis. Besides, you can’t weigh more than fifty pounds. I barely notice you on my back.”
I laughed and kissed her neck again, loving her soft intake of breath every time I did it. “Try sixty-five, but thanks for the compliment. Are we almost there?”
She nodded. “Don’t like riding on my back?”
I tugged on her earlobe with my teeth. “No, I love riding on your back. I was hoping we had another few miles to go.”

Katie lives with her soul mate, whom she met online at Thanksgiving and married in April. Together they share their lives with their three children and two leopard geckos. After suffering an especially bad spill on the bunny hill in 1989, Katie became an amputee in 2011, giving her the much-needed time to pen her first novel, Sugar's Dance. With the release of Sugar's story, Katie discovered the unfilled need for disabled heroes and heroines. Her stories are about empowering people with special circumstances to find the one person who will love them because of their abilities, not their inabilities. Katie has a slight addiction to Twitter and blogging, with a lessening aversion to Pinterest now that she quit trying to make the things she pinned.

Unlawful Desire, ALFA Investigations by Chelle Bliss..... Review by Dawn

Screw relationships.

My motto: Hit it and quit it.

Simple worked. Feelings weren’t on the line, hearts weren’t able to be broken, and I could keep my life simple.

My friends told me to move on and find the “one,” but I wasn’t ready to love again.

Until I met her.

A dirty-mouthed temptress with a killer body that had me questioning everything.

I knew I could ruin her forever, but not without losing myself.

I wouldn’t do it..

But Georgia Phillips was innocent, pure, and total perfection.

I wouldn’t be the one to strip her bare and break her heart.
I swore I’d never call another woman mine, but that was before I almost lost her…

Warning: If you can't handle a cocky bad boy or a badass chick with a dirty mouth, this might not be the book for you.

~~~~Dawn's Review~~~~
Can we just cover the fact that Chelle Bliss never disappoints...NEVER!  I am super crushing on Georgia! This is a first for me, I am usually swooning over her leading ALFA/Gallo men, but lord have mercy I love G! She is hysterical, a total smart ass and a true ball buster. I love her "nerd factor" and the fact that she is a librarian. G is someone that Frisco would not normally date, but one look at her and he is in.
Frisco, has been burned and it has turned him off of relationships, do the deed and walk away. Can Georgia give him a run for his money? She is not looking for love... but she carries a secret, will she let Frisco in?
This book is very sexy, I mean all of her books are, but I think the fact that there were secrets that made it hotter for me. Call me crazy but it did.
I am being selfish, but I missed my beloved Gallo family. We know this is a spin off of the Inked series, so I know they can not be as prominent in the ALFA series... see shelfish!  But we did meet G's and Frisco's parents ... I was dying laughing when Frisco's mom showed up, I could just picture it and the hilarity then ensued was great! Oh and continuing with the tradition of  getting caught in the act... Mama Jones catches Georgia and Frisco "christening" his office... I was dying, especially with Bear being in the mix. And as for G's family, well there are intense! Mr. Phillips ...WOW! But meeting how they did the first time, well that would not be ideal.
The only thing I found lacking, and I mean that with respect, was the level of intensity that we normally get in an ALFA book. But at the same time it was refreshing that our leading lady was not in a situation that put her at risk constantly. I thought for sure Frisco's ex would come back and reek havoc.
This is by far for me the sweetest of all her works. It was nice to have a story that made me feel good the entire time I was reading it.
                                 4.5 Clock for this Sweet, Sexy and Funny book !
Cover REVEAL... Complicate Me: The Good Ol' Boys series book 1 by M. Robinson
COVER REVEAL
Complicate Me
The Good Ol' Boys
Best Selling Author M.Robinson
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: September 14th
It was complicated, it was also just the beginning. A decision. A simple choice. There is always that one moment in life where things could have been different. That one moment where you could have chosen a path that would lead you down a certain road. A different life. It was easier to pretend that we were still best friends, and that she was my girl and I was her boy. Pretending was better than knowing the truth... I. Ruined. Us. I had her. I lost her. I love her. All I did was complicate us.
I just couldn’t stay mad at him.
He made it absolutely impossible for me not to laugh and he knew it, too. Which only made it worse. It was like adding fuel to the fire, making it bigger and wider with each flare of gasoline. When I saw that he didn’t turn down my street and kept riding in the direction of our abandoned house, I smiled.
There was no helping that either.
The times that he chose to be with me over the boys warmed my heart, especially when he preferred me to surfing.
We parked our bikes behind the house and ran up the stairs. Over the last few months we had turned it into our own little paradise, bringing blankets and pillows to throw on the floor, candles for when it got dark, and sometimes Lucas would even bring in wood from outside to turn on the fireplace. We had magazines, board games, snacks and water. Everything we needed was there.
I loved it.
He handed me a bottled water to drink and then I passed it back to him so he could, too. I laid down on the blankets and pillows and beheld the vaulted ceilings with a content sigh.
“Whatcha’ thinkin’ about over there?” he questioned, sitting down facing me.
“How much I love this place.”
“Good.”
“I want to get married here.”
“What?” he chuckled.
“You heard me. I want to have my engagement party here and I want to get married here. And then I want to buy this house and raise a family here,” I firmly stated.
“Aren’t you a little young to think about stuff like that?”
“No. I think about stuff like that all the time.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Mmm hmm…”
“Who you marrying?”
I immediately held his amused gaze. “What?” It was my turn to say.
“You heard me,” he replied, throwing my own words back at me. “Who you marrying?”
“Oh…” I breathed out. “I don’t know.”
He raised his eyebrow but didn’t call me out on my lie. “Don’t you think that maybe you should experience things first?”
“How do you know I haven’t?” I provoked, wanting to wipe the smug look off his face.
“Because I know.”
“Whatever.” I looked away.
“You want to know how I know?”
I kept my stare on the tray ceilings, swallowing the saliva that had pooled in my mouth, and hoping that it would calm the fluttering feeling I had suddenly formed in my belly. I shrugged because I couldn’t speak; it would giveaway how I felt.
“I know because I would remember it, just like I remember our first experience. The same one that’s hanging around your neck.”
My heart pounded with each word that fell from his mouth.
“Do you want me to?”
“Do I want you to what?” I replied, already knowing what he meant but needing to hear him say it.
“Do you want me to kiss you?” He paused to let his words sink in. “Really kiss you?”
My mouth parted and my chest rose and descended with each breath I took. I found myself nodding before I gave it anymore thought, ignoring the voice in the back of my mind that screamed at me that this was a bad idea. He bent forward and rested on his hands and knees, his face, his lips, coming toward me and making me tightly shut my eyes.
Waiting.
A million thoughts went through my head, but the moment I felt his lips on mine they were all gone in an instant…
Nothing else mattered at that moment.
