Ahhh, anytime we get more Gallo's is a good day!!!! This time we get one of the boys, Nick Gallo, With his bad-boy behavior is now a thing of the past, Nick just wants to work at his shop and Mammoth's shop and live the easy life. Well, seeing a woman crying at a Taco stand late one night changes his life.
Josephine Carmichael is crying into her tacos after her boyfriend cheated on her. Nick just can not help himself and utters the simplest of phrases "he's not worth it." That is all it takes for these two worlds to collide.
This story is an easy fun ride. The Gallo family is front and center and OMG, I just adore them. I love the fact that Nick had no idea who Jo actually is and I love watching that play out. This is another, Chelle Bliss book that just makes you love these men and want to be one of the girl cousins. Of course, we get the heat that Chelle always brings with the Heatwave series. Nick and Jo are not lacking at all in that department. She always keeps us wanting more of her amazing character-driven stories and I am here for it.
