Dawn's Review

I found myself really enjoying this story.  
Summer's innocence and positive outlook , mixed with Niyol's sour outlook on life, was gold! 
Niyol, is running putting as much distance between his MC and himself as possible. Taking the fall for a "brother," was what landed him in prison . He makes the decision to tun the tables on his MC and that is where the trouble starts. Needing to protect his step-mother and sister, he needs a ride, enter Summer. She is everything he is not and he can't help be a little attracted to that. 
The banter was really great between them on their long road trip from Illinois to Cali. Summer put up with his brooding, even keeping to her schedule of stops along the way. You know what they say about the best laid plans... 
This story really has all the makings for a great series. It is the perfect introduction to what I am sure will be a great series. 
Drama, Romance, Danger and Love... Some things go unanswered so I am craving book 2, now!

Dawn's Review This is the second book in the billionaire series by JS Scott and it did not disappoint.
I really enjoyed this story and the continuation of the Sinclair siblings.. Adrian, shared a summer of love with his sister’s best friend. They both came from very poor family’s and had to do what they could for money. This meant Aidan taking a summer job on a fishing boat, leaving Skye in the hands of her unstable mother. Little did Adain know Skye was about to be married off to a much older man. Aidan’s older brother Seth , stepped in and did what he thought was best for Aidan, not knowing the terror that would be Skye’s future.
This back story set the stage for the an epic show down between a seriously angry Skye. Forced to have to sit next to Aidan at Jades\’s wedding .Tempers boil over and Skye finally lets her fury out on Aidan.
This was easy to follow, which is surprising because there are a lot of players in this story. All the siblings are present and you can see where the set up is for the next story.. I am ready to read more in this series, because it keeps me invested in the characters. I am however, a little tired of the repetitive conversations about money . More on point , how the Sinclair family came into their new found fortune. It is mentioned often and is very unnecessary, I mean I picked up on it the first time it was mentioned. It did not need to be constantly repeated.

I was about to make a huge mistake. 

 And when I say huge, I mean, approximately ten inches’ worth of mistake. 
 But after the week I’d had, this was just what I needed. A night of big bad mistakes with a big bad biker.

Finding out your boyfriend is a cheating loser is a real buzz kill. Finding out you’re actually the other woman, is devastating. Call it temporary insanity, but I decide the best way to get over the loser I’d dated for two years is to get under a biker with tattoos, dimples and a hard body he knows how to use. He’s going to make everything better with numerous mind-blowing orgasms. But just for one night. Except one faulty condom means my one-night stand isn’t so one-night after all.

Caleb Calley 
After a night of insane sex, the beautiful blue-eyed brunette gave me the slip. And even with all the women on offer afterwards, I can’t get her off my mind. Dawn's Review 

I have had the pleasure of reading all 3 of her Kings of Mayhem book and I LOVE this one. 
The primes is shockingly never really touched on in the MC genre. One night stand, leads to baby! 
I really liked Honey. I liked her spunk and her not being a cookie cutter leading lady. She had a life of her own and was fine, until that one night with Caleb Calley and he was more than happy to be what she needed. 
I loved the dynamic between these two. He didn't try to over power Honey, well except for the " I am moving in" moment.  Caleb, was serious in wanting to be apart of every aspect of Honey and the baby's life. 
The twists and turns involving her ex and his crazy stalker, dare I say, stalkers? That made this story all the more exciting. I did not see it coming when the "gift giving stalker" was revealed. The "CRAZY stalker," yeah I saw that from a mile away.
I am very interested to see what happens in the next installment.

It happens once or maybe twice a year or maybe not even that often. But when it does happen, there is this feeling of overwhelming satisfaction. A story that checks all the boxes of what makes an amazing read. This, this is exactly how I felt with Vicious Minds, part 1. Then you realize there is at least one more book to come, to finish out this series and make our Ruthless People-Children of Vice series complete.

Superb writing and so many unexpected twists and turns. Ms. McAvoy, just gets better with each additional book to this series, her talent lies in the details.  She can tell you with just a few words like “that was an angels kiss,” you can just hear the evil smile in their voice. Making our hearts speed up and sending our minds racing. The fact that she can keep everyone and everything straight from book 1 to book  8, is astonishing. There are so many players and factors in place, it can make your head spin . But in the best way possible. 

Ethan, is reeling (we think) from Ivy’s death and the fact that he has figured that his parents are BOTH still alive, when a knock on the door changes everything. 

The story takes us back to the past and we get to see the relationship between Calliope and Ethan develope. Revelation after revelation, are unearthed and the result is absolutely mind blowing. You think you have an idea as to what will happen nextt, YOU most certainly do not. Calliope, is everything Ivy wished she could be, but could never achieve. She is cunning, strong, determined and hungry to be the new Queen in town. Never too far away form Ethan, watching him and waiting on her chance to make her presence known. Cali, is a woman with a plan and will stop at nothing to get it. Will Ethan work with or against Calliope? Will she be able to share the spot light with someone who has the power to take it all away and destroy her heart as well as her plans to rule?

Ethan and Cali, are FIRE, It really is that simple. They are combustible. They are cool as ICE. They are unbothered by the path of destruction they leave behind them. They are also very much in love, a weakness Ethan, never wanted to allow in to  cripple him.  They will stop at nothing to keep and protect their love and family. Sound familiar? Maybe, but there is one thing for sure, there is a new King and Queen in town and I am so ready for the war that is coming . Hell hath no furry like a man who wants revenge, and a woman at his side who wants to rule with him.

Dawn's Review

First off, lets all appreciate a very grown up Jace Dean gracing the cover! Fantastic photo by Wander Agular. 
Ok, now that, that is done, I SO enjoyed this story. I had not read the previous book or books in this series and was afraid I would be lost, not at all. This is a connected standalone series, you will not feel you missed something by having not read the others. 
Mark, is the oldest and most mysterious of the Bennett brothers. Never getting serious with anyone and running the families ranch. His focus is ranch and family, that is it. He makes no time for a social life because Mark, harbors desires that have come back to haunt him. He stays busy to keep those desires at bay. Little did he know he would literally knock Katelyn Johnson, off her feet.
Katelyn, is new to town and looking for something completely new! Moving to a new town, starting a new job and knowing absolutely no one, makes everyday a new exciting adventure. Not looking for love, Katelyn is thrown for a loop when Mark Bennett, walks into her office sending her tumbling .
I found Mark to be a bit frustrating at times not annoyingly so, just a little. His desires often wanted to get the best of him when it comes to Katelyn, but he resists. 
Their chemistry is off the charts and they BOTH are trying to do the right thing by not blurring the lines. 
This is typical wonderful Lauren Landish, the writing is fantastic and the characters are lovable and totally enjoyable.

Dawn's Review

When I had finished the first book I was sorta of shocked that it left me on a cliff. I knew this was a series, I just didn't realize that the first 2 books would be Cade and Indy's. Actually book 1 is their love story and this one , this is about revenge and the love shared between friends and family as well as Cade and Indy. 
I am truly enjoying this series! 
The past is not Cade's friend. First he has to face the past mistakes he made with Indy and now he is facing someone with a personal vendetta against his club. The drama is definitely a big draw for me to this series. You never quite know what is going to happen next. Cade, suffers a loss so profound that it almost causes him his beloved Indy. But Indy, she is not so quick to give up and will go to the ends of the earth for Cade. With the danger amping up Cade is beside himself with keeping Indy safe. He goes as far as crushing Indy again with his devastating act of betrayal. Only this time Indy knows he is trying to send her away and is not letting that happen. 
This story has betrayal, sexiness in spades and love. Not just the love of a man and woman, but the love shared between family and friends. It was really heartbreaking to read Cade's feelings with he loses Issac. When Indy is with Maribelle and tragedy strikes after the exciting new, man that was gripping!  
Wonderfully written, an easy ready and a really great series, that keeps me coming back for 
more.
