“Tell me you don’t love me. Tell me you don’t wish it were me who held you in their arms. Tell me you don’t want me to kiss you right now, yeah? Touch you, take you to our bed and make sweet fuckin’ love to all night long, until there isn’t an inch of your skin I haven’t kissed, licked, or touched. Tell me you don’t feel me,” he whimpered, placing his hand over my heart, “here.”
“Creed,” I whispered in a voice I didn’t recognize. Trying to reel in my feelings, hide the fact that he still had an effect on me.
After all this time.
“Tell me any of that, and I swear I’ll leave you alone, cuz at the end of the day… All I ever wanted was for you to be happy, and if that’s not wit’ me, then at least I have the memory of the love of my fuckin’ life.” He placed his forehead on mine, bringing his hands up to frame my face again. “Say the words, babe,” he groaned in a tone that made my stomach flutter and my body warm. His mouth so close to mine that I could feel him breathe on me. The smell of cigarettes and mint took over my senses. As if he was testing me, he licked his lips slowly, provoking me. Proving that he was right. I shut my eyes. I had to. The realization was too hard to admit, and I knew he could see it in my gaze.
He knew me. “Creed,” I panted, my breathing mimicking his. “Please…”
“Please what, baby?” he rasped as if he was hanging on by a thread.
Waiting for me to say the magic words that would set us both free.



My Review
So, I spent last weekend reading both Road to Nowhere and Ends Here. I waited because I had seen that RTN was a cliffhanger and well, I do not do cliffy's.  TO be honest that was a lot of angst in a matter of 48 hours. I normally read something lighter in between my "rip my heart out" books.

True to form Author M. Robinson gives you a gut wrenching, pulse pounding story. We get to see who Mia ends up with Noah or Creed, and we are taken on a heartbreaking journey. I will have to say that for me I preferred Road to Nowhere over Ends Here. For me, book 2 has so much going on that I was left feeling like I must have missed something. When things happen to Mia, and believe me there are plenty of things that go wrong for this poor girl. I had a hard time believing, that her father and "Uncles" never followed Creed out to the safe house, not once thinking to do that. I was sure since they all thought he was guilty, they would have a man on him.  I am trying not to give away any of the details, because I want you to experience them for your self. I will say that the fall out after the birth of her child, went on a bit long for my taste.

I did really like Creed, he is just such an amazing leading man! He is the man we all longed for and he lived up to all our expectations. I liked that he was a man on a mission. I loved that he has this tender side that only Mia was aware of. I loved his devotion to his family, even if his brother was after his girl. He was committed to his club, but not so much that he would put up with things set in motion a long time ago.The most satisfying "revenge or justice served" part in this story was AWESOME!  I absolutely loved that there was no fixing it or apologizing. IT WAS DONE. So many players were involved and I was a bit scattered for a minute, but I quickly got my wits about me and was thrilled with the ending of this book. Never one to disappoint, M. Robinson comes through again.

“Izzy, please. Be reasonable.” I loved when James begged. “Say it again,” I taunted him. What the fuck with the be reasonable comment? I’m always reasonable. Okay, maybe that isn’t entirely true. He arched an eyebrow, and the same shitty smirk that I’d grown accustomed to flashed across his lips. “I could make you say yes.­” “Doubtful.” I glared at him, feeling supercocky even though I was in no position to be. “Don’t fuck with me, Noah. I gotta enough fuckin’ bullshit to deal with. Don’t need your shit, too.”

There was no hesitation with his response, when he clearly replied with, “Yeah, Creed. I fuckin’ do.”

I am a die hard MC fan. If it's MC, I'm in. This Jensen Stone is going to become one of the great "MC alpha's," I'm saying right now . I am almost embarrassed to admit that this is my very first Cat Mason read. This book was suggested to me by an author, who read it fell hard and told me to get on it.
This is a non stop story, you get a glimpse of Jensen and Roanne's past , without it dragging on. It was enough that you understand the connection, without beating it down our throats, I appreciate that so much. 

Roanne is such an awesome leading lady. She is a princess of sorts, but watch out when she gets riled up. She will absolutely not back down and will do her best to best Jensen. This is an action packed story that takes you for a wild ride. Never expecting who is going to show up or what is going to happen next. The supporting cast of characters has me so excited for the books to come. Schrader and Cheyenne have my interests peaked, as well as Colt and Henley. I am so looking forward to what is next!


Roanne and Jensen's chemistry is, for me up there with some of my favorite MC couples, Deuce and Eva, Tack and Tyra, Grizz and Ginny "the greats" as I like to call them. This is a sexy sexy story! They argue and then take out on each other in just the absolute best way...
I will tell you that there is a good amount of violence in this story, but hello...it is called "Retaliation" and boy does it live up to its name.
I am such a fan of this book and the ones yet to come!
